once you have it, you will be able to make loads of goodies and coins and have an easy time levelling up your empire. With this article I will show you the exact steps you need to
take to get your pier.
Step 1 - Dosh
For 5,000 coins you can have the pier which means your going to need at least that many coins to own one. Even if you fulfil every other obligation, without the dough you have
no way of getting a pier. That's it!.
Step 2 - Completing Goals
If you look at the Shipping menu under Build then you may notice a message saying "Requires: Completing goals" not only for the
pier but also for all the other Shipping items
including the boats and the 9 supply routes.
You need to complete The New Seaport goal. If you haven't come across this
goal yet, don't worry, it's not that far into the game. For this goal you are required to have 3 city expansions and to have laid 3 roads. If you have
never done an expansion before then it will cost roughly 20,000 coins a pop. The cost of
roads is like pocket change in comparison.
Remember, if you haven't already expanded to the water then you should do so now because that is naturally where a pier is
placed!
