Remember breaking up with people happens with a reason and blindly getting people back just to feel complete again will not do you good in the long so think deeply if you sincerely want them in your life for good.

You'll just keep going in circle, making up and fighting, you'll reconcile and separate again when you reach another crisis if you simply didn't take the time to find out if you are still honestly in love with your partner. Be honest, specially with yourself.

If you just want people back into your life because of habit and not because you love them, it's no good. You'll just be building a prison where you and your partner will be trapped. A relationship should not be kept because it's moral or out of convenience but because you are sincerely in love with your ex partner. If you're sure that you love your ex and want them back badly then by all means get them back.
