How To Get Your Ex Back: The First Step You Should Take
Getting your ex back was not something you ever really thought about before
. You figured things would always remain the way they were. That's not a fantasy. From your perspective the two of you were a good fit. Disagreements happened but you and your ex never had a knockdown drag out fight that you saw more than a few of your friends have. You both always did a good a job of working through any rough patches.Then your ex shocked you one afternoon and said they were ending the relationship. That was bad enough but what really surprised you was they refused to give you any reason. They wanted out and that's all there is to it. Not much you can do with that.
If there is a silver lining, it's that a few days after the breakup your ex contacted you briefly to let you know that they may be open to getting back together. Just not right now. You want them back but figuring out where to start is going to be a major problem.
A good place to start is to spend time doing a little self reflection. Too often when people try to get their ex back they let their feelings carry them away without sitting down and doing some hard thinking about what happened before.
It may take a lot more time than you think and truth to tell that's not a bad thing. It will give both of needed space away from each other to think things through. Be ready to do some serious examination. Is there anything you could have done differently? The answer is of course yes since none of us is perfect. But don't beat yourself up over it. Just accept the fact that it happened see what you can do to correct it and move on. Anything more than that is counterproductive and totally unfair to you.
