You can also grow seeds placed in damp paper towels set in bowls. In good conditions, consistent dampness plus a temperature of about 60 degrees Fahrenheit, the seedlings should germinate in 10 days or so.

For anybody who is starting watercress from cuttings, it must be around 10 centimeters in length. The lower part of the cutting have to be stripped of foliage then planted around seven centimeters away from each other.

They must be protected from the sun, right up until their roots become well established.
