, that it is difficult to decide which real estate agent will be best for you.

There is no set formula to choosing the right agent for you, but there are some things you should know about what they do. One thing is that they all have exactly the same list of houses to choose from. It is from the multiple listing service in your county. In fact, this list is available to you, as well, over the internet.

When you find the right house, call an agent about it. The agent who holds the listing may know more about the house than other agents. But he works only for the seller. You should be aware that since the seller is going to be the one to pay this agent's commission, this agent has a responsibility only to the seller of this house. Any other agent can get the same information, if they probe enough, that the listing agent has. They can get the key, and they can show you the property, and they do not work for the seller.

Interviewing a couple of sales agents is advised, but they all have the same listing of houses and generally the same way of matching their buyers up with the properties. When you find an agent that you like, it is best to stay with him. If you waste his time letting him show you houses, and then contact another agent to do the same thing, your first agent will not appreciate that.

If you like the personality of your agent, and you feel that you can trust them and they are not pressuring you into a purchase, this is probably a good indication that they are the one you should work with. They should also return your phone calls in a very timely manner.
