How To Increase Your Quality Score On Google Adwords

Quality score is very important in any Adwords campaign

. Higher quality scores will give you cheaper CPC and higher ad position.

First of all, if you dont know already you MUST know what is the Google Keywords Tool. Its an amazing service that you can use for free, and will give you plenty of keyword ideas. It is an amazing tool. A "must" if you using adwords or any other ppc advertising service.

These are the some of the things that you can do to increase the quality score:

Create a doorway page: For those who dont know, a doorway page is a simple web page that has the purpose to lead to a main website. Why do you need this? Google does not like people that put affiliate links on their ads. If you do that, you will get lower quality score, which means higher cpc and lower ad position. So, all you need to do is build a simple HTML page talking about the product and from there, direct people to your affiliate company.


Paying on time: This does not effects directly your quality score, but effects your reputations. People that keep paying late their bills on adwords, will be seen by google as people not responsible and that dont know what are doing. You will get higher cpc if you dont pay on time.

Keywords: This is where most people fail. First of all let me explain you how you should come up with your keywords. Many people just go to the google keyword tool or any other keyword program and get all the keywords from there, but they might be doing it wrong. First of all you have to come up with some keywords on your own. If you can get 5 or 10 keywords, thats good enough to start. Now that you have those keywords, type one by one on the google keyword tool. Most of the people grab on all the keywords, and mix into a single campaign. Doing this, google will look at your campaign and will see that is not a targeted one. You will get higher cpc and lower ad position. So, what should i do? Remember those keywords that you come up on your own? Type your first keywords on the google keyword tool and get the keyword ideas related to that keyword. You should make 1 campaign ONLY for this keyword and the keywords related. When you do this with another keyword you should repeat the process BUT make a second campaign, and so on.
