As mentioned above, there is no need to shampoo the hair system every day unless of course you are working in areas that are quiet dirty like the coal mines. Hair replacement system needs to be cleaned, but doing this may mean more harm than good. Of course we do no want to wear the hair system looking and smelling awful therefore, it is necessary that we have to keep it clean. We can only do this when needed or once or twice a week.

If daily shampooing of the hair system is not recommended so is daily blow drying of the hair for this will cause the hair to become unmanageable, dry and brittle.The water contains hard chemicals, therefore if daily shampooing is done daily, then if these hard chemicals will start to build up on the hair system

The best place for a wig to live is on a wig block , Styrofoam head, wig box or even a clean clear plastic bag. This will insure that it is not being crushed or flattened in any way.
