India is home to a huge diversity of wildlife

Seeing tigers in the wild is a truly fantastic experience and there are Tiger Reserves all over the country you can go on safari in the snow clad foothills of the Himalayas in the north, in the mangrove forests of Sundarbans in the East, amidst the splendour or Rajasthan in Ranthambore, or in the tropical forests of Tamilnadu in the south. As the tiger is at the top of the food chain, wherever they are to be found there will also be a mind blowing amount of other wildlife to see the tigers chief prey of antelope and deer; other members of the cat family including leopard; wild boar; langur and a vast and colourful array of bird life. What you will see will obviously depend on the area visited, but a wildlife safari in India is always exciting and never disappointing.
