How To Know If He Is The One
So you've ultimately found a guy which makes you laugh and you can picture yourself spending the rest of your life with
. How do you know that he's "the one"? The fact is that during our lifetime, we may meet a few men who could be "the one", but we need to ask ourselves a few questions before we make that big commitment.
Is it possible to be yourself around him or her? Does he or she know your personal and intimate habits, such as devour peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon; how you constantly brush your teeth; and the fact that you like a glass of wine or two prior to dinner? If you can't simply be your true self around her or him, then you will never truly be comfortable with each other.
The same goes for him or her. Is he or she themselves around you? Do you know what he or she does when you are not there? Does he or she sits cross legged on the living room floor in his favorite pajama playing video games? Unless you know much concerning him or her and what he or she does when you are not together, then maybe you do not know him very well.
Is he someone who you love being with? This may sound like a pretty basic and easy question, however on occasions when you are not necessarily intimate with each other, is he someone who you see yourself spending time with regularly? He or she should be someone you trust completely, and love to be close to with a lot.
Does this individual take care of you? Does he open gates for you; make sure you have a couch; ask you if you need a drink or something to consume? If he is truly concerned about your well-being and you are comfortable, then he truly does care about you and this is an extremely good sign.
Do the two of you share the same values? Do you see yourselves getting married and beginning a family, or do you both want to be with each other without children? This is a serious deal breaker for a lot of couples, which means you need to discuss it at least one or two times to decide if you understand each other. There is no point in making a commitment to one another to spend your lives together if you want children and he does not. Sooner or later, you will start to resent each other if you go ahead along with plans and they will not go the way you assume.
Does he allow you freedom? In other words, are you currently allowed to spend time together with your friends, make calls in private or even do other activities where he is not constantly following your every move ? A man that tries to control you or any facet of your life has some deep seated issues, and is not the type of man that will make you happy. Controlling behavior is a type of abuse, which is easy to get caught up in this cycle if you are in this type of relationship, because you can't recognize it without outside help.
A great relationship has many various parts that all come together to create a complete package. It is up to you to think very carefully about each aspect and ensure that you are getting exactly what you bargained for.
