The last thing you want is for money to ruin your relationship, so talk openly about how much money you make and how much you can spend on certain items.

2. Milestones: Maybe you just got promoted or got a raise. If this means that you are financially comfortable, it may be time to think about white gold diamond wedding rings (which typically cost about a month's salary).
