Gray weapons sell from 5s-5g quite easily just at the vendor, same goes with random items dropped by mobs. If you see a traveling vendor then you should always buy up what they are selling, if the item has a number on it, like this (1). That means you can only buy 1 item, when you see that there's a big chance that particular item will sell for about 20 times higher than the buying price, so always buy those and put them at the Auction House, or mail it to your bank alt that you should already have near both the mailbox and the Auction House, to sell items that your main get without the hustle.
