Your ex will second guess their decision and that's a good thing.

2. Look better than you've ever been - If your ex ditched you because he/she suddenly found you uninteresting make sure that you don't curl up in a ball and cry yourself to sleep. Instead, try to socialize with your friends and make sure you look your best. Go to the gym if you like, buy some new clothes. If your ex notices that you are more vibrant than when you were together, then you've won half the battle.

3. Date someone else - I'm not saying jump into another relationship that you don't want. What I'm saying is if your ex sees you with someone else and you create the impression that you've moved on, you can expect a call from him/her in a day or two.

4. Be yourself- This is very important. Even when doing the first three steps, it doesn't mean that you have to change the way you are. What it means is be the best version of you. Your ex fell in love with you because he/she saw something in you. Imagine how your ex would feel if he/she sees version 2.0.
