This means that you have to do your part in taking care of this footwear to ensure that it would retain its top quality and condition.

1. Waterproof immediately. Right after you have bought your boots, make sure that you waterproof them immediately. You can buy the waterproofing product from the store where you bought your boots. Remember never to use wax or silicone-based waterproofing products as these can clog into the pores of the material.
