How To Memorize Gre Words?

Memorizing GRE words is bit tricky, but ultimately students victory entirely depends upon new vocabulary

. Remembering and gaining expertise in new vocabulary is a tough task. Its challenging mission, but if it is done patiently, smartly & stepwise, it becomes easy.

-First Step is to get an excellent vocabulary list; you can take online help in getting a good & relevant list.

-Study the list thoroughly & find out the unknown words.

-Repetition is the key factor in memorizing GRE words.

- Memorize the unknown words successively by repetition &memorizing tricks. The memorizing technique should be strong enough to keep the information in brain for long term use.

Lets take a brief look on the steps mentioned above:

Formerly, read the complete Vocabulary list from start to end & tick out the words you dont know. Now its time to begin, select any alphabet letter from A to Z. Commence with the letter you want; W, X, V, Z, Q should be preferred first as they are quick to close & give you self-confidence.

Understand the words which you are not aware of. Read them couple of times, understand their meanings& usage in the sentences. Even try to write words for few times.

On the next day, read the selected specific alphabets vocabulary list again; concentrate on the words marked earlier. See whether you remember the meanings of the new words. If you don't, mark them again using some different colour scheme. Go through their meaning again and sentence usage also.

Then, select the other alphabet letter & repeat the process. Continue this by the time you cover all the alphabets.

After repeating & continuing this process for few weeks for all alphabets, the number of words you dont know will considerably decrease. During this entire process, use different color schemes.

As you are through now, make altogether separate vocabulary list of the GRE words that you did not memorize yet. The word list will come out to be10 to 20 percent of the complete GRE vocabulary words.

The remaining list of words is difficult to memorize for you. Associate these words & give them some special personal meanings. Couple the words into synonyms and antonyms. Learning prefix, suffix and roots of vocabulary is also helpful.

Revise the GRE words list again& take up the sample tests. You will be surely amazed with the results.
