Following this leave the fridge door open for 24 hours to allow it to dry out completely.

Moving the Fridge - If possible remove handles as these may catch or damage other items during the move. Secondly weighing the freezer down is often a good idea, this keeps it stable for the duration of the journey Wrapping blankets around the outside of the fridge is also effective in stopping any doors from opening and causing any surface damage. Ideally freezers should be transported vertically if possible.

Reinstalling the Fridge - When the fridge has reached its final destination return it to its standing position.
