How To Optimize Your Facebook Pay Per Click Ads
Mastering Facebook's Pay Per Click Ads is a lot easier to master than Google's adWords or Microsoft adCenter
. If you follow these simple tips, I don't see how you can fail to generate endless leads and fanpage likes.
Here's How To Optimize Your Facebook Pay Per Click Ads:
Use very few words to summarize what the ad is about and eliminate all unnecessary words. Use short catchy headlines that directly calls out the problems.
Create a story for the body of the ad. This will almost guarantee that your ad will be approved. Never make claims on how much money someone can make. Instead, claim how someone did. Here's an example:
"How Mr. X Built a 6 Figure Income in 7 moths Using This System. Learn How."
or
"How This single Father Sponsored 107 Reps into His Primary Biz in Less Than 60 Days. See How."
Select an image that will stand out. This is the number one important factor when creating your ad. Keep it relevant to what you are promoting and outline the image in bright red or orange for an added effect. Sex sells so go sexy but not provocative.
Select your target Countries and stick to the United States, UK & Canada. You don't want to run into a legal issue when dealing with other smaller countries. Trust me, it's not worth the hassles.
This is extremely important so pay attention- when you select the age, select the range in between 20-34. You will eventually be creating two more ads exactly like this one with the age ranges as followed: 35-54 and 55-65. This will let you determine what age group is the most responsive for the product or service you're promoting.
Always use the 'Precise Interest' option and NEVER select more than one interest. If you do, one category can severely pull down the click through rate of another causing you to spend more per click than you want to. Believe me on this, one interest is all you need. Also, ignore the broad category section.
Set your campaign budget according to your budget and always set the cpc (cost per click) bid to $1.00 regardless of what they suggest. This will not hurt your chances of how often your ad will show.
At this point your done and now you want to let the ads run a couple of days before tweaking your ads for a higher click through rate. Your target is .1% and if you are seeing anything less than that, change one or two things at the most such as the image or the title and monitor the ctr again. If the ctr is starting to rise but stalls before the targeted .1% , change the precise interest or the ad body but never the two together. Sometimes the wrong precise interest is selected and changing this alone will skyrocket the ctr. the lower the ctr means lower cpc!
Keep in mind that all three ads may be slightly different form one another even thought they are all promoting the same product or service. This is what you want so that you can maximize the highest number of people seeing your ad. Just keep the interests generally the same.
