Leave comments on other blogs. If you leave a comment and also post a link to your website you can direct some of the visitors from that site to your site. Write guest posts. When you guest post, you would be submitting content to someone else's website, thereby allowing yourself to gain free exposure and new visitors when you post a link to your site via the article.

Have a blog contest. If you have any items knocking around your house or apartment, in good condition, which can be used as a prize for a blog contest. You can host a blog contest. This would create new traffic to your website as people would get the word out about the contest and the prize which can be won, this would increase traffic to your website when the new visitors check out the link to your website on the blog. Join a blog carnival. A blog carnival is when a group of bloggers get together and blog about the same topic on their blogs. The host of the carnival would write a summary post, linking to all of the participant bloggers and all of the bloggers would provide links to each others' articles. This would provide plenty of new traffic as new visitors would be visiting your website due to the links on your blog.

Network. If you link with a blogger or website owner, they would be more likely to provide links to your website. Thus providing new traffic to your website. Publish an RSS feed. Once you publish an RSS feed your visitors would be able to subscribe to your website using an RSS reader. Whenever you publish new content they would be able to receive it automatically, which would give them more reasons to continue visiting your website and encouraging their friends' friends' friends to visit your website , so you would be able to continuously grow your web presence and visitors on a regular. Use Feedburner. A Feedburner would allow you to get the most out of your RSS Feed as it would allow you to, gather statistics about your subscribers and customize your options just to name a few. Feedburner makes your RSS feed compatible with most browsers and RSS readers so you dont have to worry about your feed not working on certain computers or browsers. So that as many people as possible would be able to successfully subscribe to your RSS feed and you can maintain and increase feed subscriptions by as much as possible.

Offer email subscriptions. Even though RSS feeds are becoming common place, they still are not that popular and in order to have the same effect of people knowing what is happening with your website you can offer email subscriptions for them to be up to date with the updated material. If you have a Feedburner account all you need to do is activate this email subscription feature under publicize and then copy and paste the subscription link unto your website. Create an email newsletter. You can carry the email subscription to the next level by offering an email newsletter. It will give you more control of the messages you send to your subscribers. So anytime you have new content or anything in general you want your visitors to know you can send them an email, so that they would continuously visit your website.

If you follow all of these tips you would be able to increase your website traffic many times over, which would allow your website and brand to grow in general, so that you would have better opportunities to be more profitable.
