Yes, there is always anxiety when you come to introducing yourself to someone you find attractive, you worry that she is going to think that you are tool. Newsflash gentlemen, women have the same fears. The dating game is not an easy one to play, and there are many things that can go wrong, but unless you want to be a bachelor for the rest of your life, you just have to suck it up and try. When it comes to picking up women, it is best to make the first move, be sincere, and to be yourself, and see what happens.

I know this is an old-fashioned notion, but you have to grow a pair and make the first move. Yes, there are women out there who will approach, but for the most part, no matter what we say to the contrary, we are more comfortable if you make the first move. It would be a mistake to spot a woman you find attractive in a bar, and wait for her to come to you. What is the worst that could happen? She may already have a boyfriend, but you won't know unless you talk to her, and you certainly don't want to go home asking yourself what would have happened if you had just walked up and said something.

After you have decided to make your approach, it is best to tell her why you decided to approach when you get there. Be honest. A friend of mine was approached a few years ago, by a guy who walked up told her that she had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen, and that he couldn't leave without at least knowing her name. She was completely blown away by such a sincere compliment, and then invited him to sit down. If. however, it was her ass or her cleavage he was checking out she probably would have slapped him silly so do not say that unless you are just looking for a hookup. If you notice a woman has an amazing laugh say as much. A sincere compliment, will go a long way.

Most importantly, when it comes to asking out a lady, you have to be yourself. A relationship started on pretense, will end, and end badly. If you try to be something you think she wants, she will find out eventually. Be honest about what you do for a living, what you like and dislike, and very importantly whether or not you are single. If you aren't, you should never have tried to talk to talk to her, and you deserve to be kicked in the ass. Being yourself is vital to having a healthy relationship, and it is best to start on the right foot. If she doesn't like you, that's her loss. There are plenty of women out there who would love to date a stand up guy like you, so don't give up.

I am a very big fan of a direct and honest approach when it comes to dating. If a woman thinks that a man has approached with good intentions, honesty, and sincerity, she is very likely to try to get to know him. If, however, she gets the feeling that you have dropped her into the middle of a relationship game, her response will not be a good one. When you think about relationships in the long term sense they require leadership, honesty, and sincerity. It is a great idea, even if you are just trying to ask a lady out, to be honest from the beginning. Start off on the right foot, and you might just find by doing so, that you can meet someone to spend your life with.
