Form 1099-DIV is also used to report unrecaptured Section 1250 gain, backup withholding, non-dividend distributions (return of capital distributions), foreign tax paid and foreign source income.

Though DacEasy only supports 1099 Misc forms you can use W2 Mate software to print DacEasy 1099 DIV forms. W2 Mate imports 1099 recipient data from DacEasy in a few simple steps. Because DacEasy limits its users to generating 1099 Misc forms you will use a 1099 report to create a 1099 statement. In W2 Mate import wizard you will be able to remap DacEasy data from the 1099 Misc form to the 1099 DIV form. Simply select the box you would like to data to be mapped to from the drop down box in the import wizard. Once the data has been mapped the user can edit, update and print 1099 DIV forms.

Use 1099-DIV software to print DIV forms on blank paper, perforated paper or use preprinted laser forms available individually or in complete sets. Per IRS regulations 1099 DIV A and 1096 forms are required to be printed on red ink laser forms. In the print options screen you will choose your recipients (all or a range) and choose which copy of the 1099 form to print. If printing to blank paper, choose print a copy in the drop down menu choose, the copy you wish to print.
