Make sure that you make it a point to put your ear health first and to protect your hearing even if at first it may seem uncomfortable to do so. You will be thankful in the future that you took the time and added effort to make sure that your hearing stays in tact that you don't suffer any internal ear damage and that all the exposure to water doesn't do you any harm. There is no need to become paranoid or obsessive about it, but you should take care and make sure that when water does get in your ears, you do your best to get it out and to dry yourself off as much as possible.
