How To Reach From Mathura To Delhi

. Delhi which is the capital city of India is located near to Mathura. Both these places of Mathura and Delhi are well-connected to each through modes of transportations like railways and road ways.

There is a distance of 149 km between the two cities of Mathura and Delhi and it takes a travel time of about 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach Mathura from Delhi.

There are no flight services between Mathura and Delhi. This is because there is no airport at Mathura.

Delhi can be reached from Mathura through the good networks of road ways which connect the two cities of Mathura and Delhi. A number of buses ply between the two cities of Mathura and Delhi on a regular basis. The buses range from ordinary non air-conditioned buses to Hi-tech Deluxe coaches and charge from about 450 rupees and above, depending upon the type of bus chosen by the traveler.

The main trains that ply between Mathura Junction railway station and Delhi are, Pdy Ndls Express No: 22403 which starts from Mathura Junction at about 12:50 am and which reaches New Delhi at 3:55 am within 3 hours and 5 minutes only on Fridays, Amritsar Express No: 11057 which starts from Mathura Junction at about 1:25 am and which reaches New Delhi at 4:10 am within 2 hours and 45 minutes on all the days, Link Daksin Express No: 12861 which starts from Mathura Junction at about 1:45 am and which reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin at 4:00 am within 2 hours and 15 minutes on all the days, Nizamuddin Express No: 12721 which starts from Mathura Junction at about 1:45 am and which reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin 4:00 am within 2 hours and 15 minutes on all the days, and, Jam Jat Express No: 12477 which starts from Mathura Junction at about 2:00 am and which reaches New Delhi at 4:30 am within 2 hours and 25 minutes only on Wednesdays.

Journey by train is the most comfortable mode of transportation from Mathura to Delhi. But, traveling via road is the easiest mode of transportation to reach Delhi from Mathura. Bus journey is suited only for backpackers and individual travelers where as journey in a car is suited for group travelers and families with kids. Since the distance is not that large, all modes of transportations are equally comfortable to reach Delhi from Mathura.
