Dealing with carpet stains needs proper care and concern

. Stains may be created due to the different factors like wines, coffee, tea, ketchup, beer, milk etc. Different types of stains require special care in the cleaning process. Following are the solutions of removing carpet stains.

To remove stains of tea, coffee, juices, wines- First thing is to blot up any excess stain or liquid with a white paper towel or use a wet/dry vacuum to remove as much of the liquid as possible. Sprinkle the stain with 7-Up, club soda or tonic water. Let set for a few seconds, and then blot up using a white paper towel. Rinse with clean water and blot up again until no stain appears on a white paper towel. Sprinkle stain with 3% hydrogen peroxide and let set for four hours. Blot with white paper towels. Before using it, you should test the stain remover on the corner of your carpet. If the stain remover causes any color fading, avoid it using again.

To remove strong stains like blood, grease, ink, tar-we can use break cleaner. Break cleaner is a power full chemical that will go deep into the carpet fibers and remove the stain effectively without leaving any spot in a carpet. Baking soda can also be used to remove these strong stains. Rub a paste of 6 table spoons baking soda and half cup of water into the stained area. Baking soda is also beneficial for removing odors from the carpet.

To remove Candle wax-first thing to do is gently scrap up excess stain after that completely cover with brown paper then use warm iron, iron the stain through the brown paper after that use clean paper bag and repeat until all stains removed from the carpet.
