Before using any sort of stain remover products make sure to confirm if your leather is polish coated or not. If it is not layered, cleaning stain can be a difficult task and can ruin your leather or discolor it.

It is advised to work on the fresh stain as they are not absorbed completely. The longer a stain has time to sit on the leather, the more saturated and permanent the stain becomes.

Ink Stains are one of the most difficult to remove, once ink is absorbed into the leather it gets extremely difficult to get rid of them. Whereas fresh ink stains are much easier to remove. To remove ink stains from leather jacket or other leather accessories apply hairspray on the affected area and wipe it away with the help of a cloth, else damp a cotton ball with alcohol and rub it over the affected area.

Grease stains are very common, no matter how careful you are, you can end up with grease stains on leather easily. Oil spill or butter content can easily leave stain on the leather surface. Greasy stains are much easier to remove as compared to ink stains. Blot excess grease with a clean cloth or a sponge. When you are done with that, Sprinkle some talcum powder on the affected area. Power will absorb the remaining grease from leather surface. Let sit for at least 4 to 5 hours, wipe the power gently after that.

In case of water stains, Allow the soaked leather jacket or any garment to dry slowly and naturally. Once dried out naturally, softness of leather can be restored using a leather conditioner. Keep the garment away from heat sources. Air dry is best option.
