(1) Quit Outlook Express.

(2) Click Start | Search or Find | All Files and Folders and type 'deleted items.dbx' to search the file.

(3) Right-click the file and click 'Rename' or 'Delete'. Type 'deleted items1.dbx' if you choose to rename.

(4) Restart Outlook Express.
