Tactic #1: Creating A Keyword Rich Auction Title
This is perhaps the most important factor in increasing your traffic and page views. Having the right keywords in your auctions will have your auction appearing on more searches, getting more click throughs and hence more bids. But it all starts with the right title. Find out what keywords you market is using (a good tool to use is Terapeak) and include those keywords in your title.
Tactic #2: Advertise Your Auctions Outside Of eBay
Advertise your auctions outside of eBay too by linking to them in your blogs, forum signature files, email signature files, your own website or even offline with classified ads and your business card. There's a whole world out there apart from eBay!
Tactic #3: Build A Mailing List
This is what I do too, and that is build a mailing list. Your mailing list is a source of repeat traffic. Most experts agree that it is easier to persuade a repeat customer to buy a product from you, than it is to find new customers. So build a mailing list. You can use an autoresponder service or eBay's own newsletter option that is available to sellers.
