How To Set Up An Opt-in Page In Blogger

, but nowadays, it is also used for businesses. And if you want more people to subscribe to your Blogger, you need to have an opt-in box. This write up tells you how to set up an opt-in page for your Blogger account.

First and foremost, you must have an account in Blogger.com and Sendfree.com. If you look into these sites, simple instructions are provided there so you can set up your accounts. Blogger will take care of your blog entries, and Sendfree will take care of the HTML format of your opt-in.

Once you finally have your accounts, it's time for you now to make your opt-in form in Sendfree. The process is quite simple and the instructions are easy to understand, so you won't have problems with it. In your Sendfree homepage, click on the link for "Members", enter your information, and then you are now logged in. Look for the "Web Forms" link. You will then see an opt-in box with its HTML code below it. Now highlight the HTML code and copy it.

Next, log on to your blogger account and click the "Add a Gadget" link. A pop-up window then appears. Just scroll down the page until you see the "HTML/JavaScript" link. Clicking the link pops up another window where you can paste the HTML you have copied from Sendfree.

Don't forget to put content on your title. It is best to give them a statement that calls for an action like, "Sign up for this free newsletter..." Once you're done, click "Save" and then view your blog. You now have an opt-in box for your Blogger.
