How To Stay In Control In Finding Locations For Your Vending Machines

Finding a vending machine location might be a difficult task

, most especially when you are new in the industry. A lot of times, novice vending machine operators would always give in to the demands of the business managers or owners just to locate their machines in that certain area. This is okay as long as you won't be compromising your products and services, because in the end, it is you and your business who will suffer the consequences.

If the business owners or managers would request for you to install cold food machine in their twenty staff office, then you have to think twice. Twenty employees might not sustain the overhead cost of your vending machine. The goods inside the machine might not be sold immediately, thus leaving you spoiled foods which you would just throw away. If you'll easily agree with their request, your business will definitely suffer leaving you with no profits at all.

Instead of saying no immediately, you can explain to them that it would not be feasible given the fact that they only have few employees. In that way, they might realize that even other vending operators cannot accommodate their requests.

Another thing is profit-sharing. Yes it is a common practice in vending industry to give some commissions to the business where you place your machine but you have to analyze the situation thoroughly by evaluating their vending room. If they are going to ask for commissions, you can ask them how much they are getting from other vendors and try to analyze if the product's prices coincides with what they say they are getting.

They may want to ask for small commissions or no commissions at all if they know that they can get an excellent vending service from you. You can also explain to them that a commission might affect the prices of the products in the machine. Most companies would want low priced products from vending machines as their employees are the first ones who would benefit from it.

Another problem in getting a location is that some of these areas are locked-up with the other vending companies. Even if they don't want the vending machine in their place anymore because of poor customer service, they are forced to stay with the current vending company because of some contracts which bonds them to the vending company.

If you get the chance to bump into this situation, you can always ask them to check the contract again. Usually, vending contracts becomes invalid when customer service is compromised. And when this happens, you can always offer your services to them assuring them that your vending company's ultimate goal is to provide excellent customer service.

Remember, these businesses and companies need your services as much as you need them. If you show them that you know exactly what you're saying, in the end, they would most probably agree with your recommendations.
