Often we go to sleep in the night making plans to do something the next day only to sweep it under the rug the next morning
. Maybe something else takes over. It is at times like this that we need to find a way to stay motivated.
It may seem easier said than done at times. But with a bit of focus and a clear priority of actions, we can keep our attention on the work to be done. Being self-motivated is one of the most trusted ways to keep motivation strong.
Depending on others to always push you to achieve may not work all the time. You need to achieve something now and if the motivator is busy with whatever he is doing, this scenario is not going to help. Find ways to self-motivate. But enlisting supporters to help in your cause is always useful.
Motivations are inside you. All you need to know is how to pull it up so that you stay motivated. Avoid negative energy. That would only oppose motivation and bog you down in your work. Do not allow somebody to say "it can't be done". Go ahead and do it and then prove them wrong. That would give you a tremendous boost to your self-esteem. It would make it easier do something else tomorrow. You did it yesterday; stay motivated today to achieve what you need to do today.
Like the clock, every second counts. Every thought counts and so does every job does well. With every job well done, see your pride swell. This is another reason to stay motivated. Motivation gives you the inner energy to do a job and do it well. If you set yourself a goal and are committed to achieving that, it will make it easier to draw on the inner strength of self-motivation to achieve that goal.
