How To Successfully Clean Your Char-broil Patio Caddie Electric Grill

Our family was in a cleaning mood today and so we all decided to conduct a general cleaning today

. My mother figured that it is about time to give our home a fresh look as most of us have not had the time to actually clean it. Good news is that I was assigned to clean outside. I thanked my mother for giving me this task. I like cleaning the garden and everything in it. But the problem came when I saw our Char-Broil Caddie Electric Grill for I didnt know how to clean it.

As soon as I was done cleaning the pieces of furniture outside, I had to deal with the patio grill too. It was certainly a challenge to clean the thing, I must admit. I gave a sigh of relief when mother came out to give me important reminders when cleaning the patio grill. For those people who have no idea what they are going to do with their own grills, here are some simple general things to remember:

- Turn on the Char-Broil grill and close the lid, allowing the grill to heat on high for 10 minutes.

- Turn off the grill and then start scrubbing the cooking grates with a brass brush. Do not use carbon steel brushes, which can scratch and chip the usual porcelain coating on your cooking grates.

- Remove the grates and the ceramic briquettes underneath when the grill is cool.

- Sweep debris and ash from inside the grill with a whisk broom into a dustpan.

- Arranging in a single layer replace the ceramic briquettes.

- Dub a light coating of cooking oil onto the cooking side of the porcelain grates using the paper towels. Put the grates back into the grill.

- Close the grill lid and spray grill cleaner or another nonabrasive cleaning product over the exterior surface, including the metal grill and side shelves. Let the cleaner set for 10 minutes.

- Wipe away the cleaner, dirt, grease and grime with a sponge soaked in warm, soapy water.

- Then rinse with water and then wipe dry with a paper towel.

- Place a vinyl grill cover over when it is not in use to protect the surface and prevent it from rusting.
