How To Take Care Of Your Skin In Autumn Season?
Autumn is the time when your summer tan fades and you need to make changes to your summer skincare regime
. Autumn presents special challenges to the face, body, hands, nails and feet. Autumn is a lovely time to be outdoors - the colorful leaves, sunshine and parks are all great for the soul, but sadly not so great for our complexions. Around this time, our skin loses tone and vitality; it becomes drier and paler. We therefore need to take special care of our skin to help it through this transition and throughout the season. This means its time once again to guide our skin through the inevitable changes in weather and mood brought on by the cooler, shorter days of Autumn.
Due to the post-summer sun-damage and skin dehydration you can notice one or several of the following symptoms:-
The skin feels and looks dry -
New or first fine lines appear and become considerably visible
The skin tone looks dull and sallow
Sun and age spots appear
The skin is flaking and is irritated
The skin is sagging and some broken capillaries become visible.
EXFOLIATION -
Exfoliation is extremely important as it gets rid of the dead damaged cells and prepares the skin to absorb more moisture and nutrition. Exfoliation enhances the effectiveness of the active ingredients in anti-cellulite, hydration and moisturization treatments by revealing more radiant skin, priming it for better absorption of the softening and hydrating power of follow up treatments such as body wrap or massage. Congested pores are unblocked and ingrown hairs are uncovered. Dull skin is revitalized0. We do best body scrub with our range of fresh Pomegranate. It doesnt only exfoliate your skin but it even removes sun tanning, leaves your skin smooth and shiny.
MOISTURIZING -
Hot summer causes dehydration, and thereby wrinkles and fine lines appear on the skin. The moisture lost needs to be properly supplemented before the onset of winter. Moisturize at least twice daily after cleansing. Dry, normal and combination skin types may use a light oil free liquid or gel moisturizer. For drier skin types, choose a thicker cream based moisturizer meant for dry skin. Along with your facial skin you need to take care of your body also. Be sure to take short warm baths and apply moisturizer onto your damp skin. It provides protection and works to regulate your skins oil and moisture content by enlivening the natural moisturizing processes.
Three things that everyone should do to protect their skin in the autumn include drinking lots of water to remain hydrated, applying moisturizer before going outside to give it time to be absorbed and, importantly, continuing to use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15.
We suggest a regular body scrub, massage, wrap and facial to maintain a healthy and glow skin in every season.
