How To Talk To Women ' A Guide For The Uninitiated
When you are twenty years old, you very often don't have a clue how to talk to women
. Not that talking is really what you want to do at that age, but unfortunately this is an art that you have to learn. The fact that most women mature earlier than guys of the same age doesn't make it any easier for the guys.
This does not mean that most men ever learn the secrets of talking to women in the right way in their lifetime. We all know the drill: you say something and your wife understands it in completely the opposite way and she's furious at you. Thee are however a few basic principles involved here.
The first thing is to always treat her with respect. Your lady would love you to tell her that she looks beautiful, but she would hate it if you make a remark about how revealing her top is and how men are staring at her assets ' even though that might be true.
Another useful fact to remember is that ladies like the conversation to be about themselves. Not that they are egocentric. Women can indeed be very selfless. But if you are introduced to a lovely lady do not spend the first half an hour explaining to her how good you are at your job. Rather ask her about herself and the things she likes (or dislikes).
Despite our modern era of women's liberation, by far the majority of women still like courteous men. Letting her walk into the elevator first, offering to carry her shopping bags or opening a door for her will in most cases not count against you. What will count against you is if your act of premeditated kindness is accompanied by a remark about women being the 'weaker sex.'
Another trick is to learn what you are allowed to say about other people ' specifically women. As a rule all women hate all other women (not really, but you get my point). So don't get yourself in the dog box by mentioning how lovely the neighbor's wife looks in her new mini, or even worse how you simply love the revealing top her sister is wearing today.
