How To Use Video To Build Your Empire

One of the great attractions of affiliate marketing is that there are no customers to deal with

. All work is done for you because you are driving traffic to a marketers site and they are taking care of the customer service. You the marketer can hide behind your computer, and still get paid well.

However, at some point you may need to establish yourself as an "expert." Whether it is to promote your own product launch or just to carve a large slice in the niche you are working in, communicating with your customers is something that you will need to do, especially if you want to upscale your operation. This will require you to step out from behind that computer and begin to be a face in your marketplace. How do the big guns get on?

Think about some of the big guru's for a moment and consider how you receive information from them. For me it is video - and it is becoming one of the most powerful ways of quickly passing on information and communicating ideas. Why is it that site like YouTube get almost as much search traffic as Google itself? Thats right, video. So if the gurus are using video why aren't you?

Maybe you are just getting started, or your shy. Fair enough. But even with these factors you can use video to quickly pass on tips. It is so easy to write an article, add a pen name and publish it. The ideas are being presented right? Sure, sort of. You can have a pen name with video as well. How much information can you put into a 500 word article? 500 words worth.

Today it is more important to effectively communicate with your customers than ever before. Why? Personalization. Video gives the person watching the feeling that they are being communicated to. Webinars are one way, and there are a ton of others. This is where a lot of people meet in one place online and watch and participate in an activity - commonplace in many sales processes by super affiliate launches and also when teaching ideas. A 5 - 10 minute video can give so much more information than in an article. Not only that but there are a lot of people that learn better when they see something, rather than writing it.

So as you start to build your online career consider for a moment how you can use video to communicate to your niche. Start with a short video every so often and take it from there. You will be surprised as how responsive people will be to what you are showing them.
