How To Watch Dvd Movies On Apple Ipad (4th Generation)

Instead of buying or renting video at the iTunes store, you can get the movies & TV episodes on your own DVDs into a format that the iPad 4 can play.There are many DVD ripping software that can do this easily. One of these software is named the Pavtube DVD Ripper. This software enables to "Rip" video content off different DVD disc and convert it to the fourth-gen iPad H.264 video (mp4/.m4v/.mov) format to make it playable on the device. This post teaches you how to get movies or TV-episodes from your DVDs onto your iPad 4 using Pavtube DVD Ripper.

Start by downloading Pavtube DVD Ripper and installing it.
Then get the DVD you plan to add to your iPad (4th generation) and place it into your computer's DVD drive. If you have a DVD digital copy on your local hard drive, you don't need to do anything and converting DVD from HDD is faster than from DVD drive.
Next, open the Pavtube DVD Ripper software. Once its home screen pops up, you can click "DVD disc" icon to load source files directly from your DVD disc inserted into your DVD drive, or click "DVD folder" icon or "IFO/ISO" icon to import from a DVD folder, a DVD IFO/ISO file stored on your computer's hard disk drive.

Now, go to "Format" drop-down menu and select "iPad HD Video (*.MP4)" as outpout format from "iPad" option. You can control the quality of the output video and audio by clicking "Settings" button to adjust output parameters such as Codec, Size (pix), Bitrate, Framerate, etc.

Click the "Browse" button to specify the output folder for ripped MP4 video file.
Click on the "Start" button. The ripping of the DVD to iPad 4 format will begin. For my 120-minute film, the ripping process tool about 70 minutes.
Now you've got an iPad4-compatible video file from your DVD. To sync it to your iPad 4, just import it into the Movies section of your iTunes library. However the original video's title, credits, etc will disappear.
