Like many people you have probably noticed that playsuits and jumpsuits are incredibly

popular at the moment and that girls all over the UK are donning them. You may be slightly unsure whether you will be able to pull this latest fashion trend off though, in which case read on to find out all about how to successfully wear playsuits.

The main difference between a jumpsuit and a playsuit is the length of the leg. Jumpsuits have full length legs, like trousers, whereas playsuits are more like shorts on the bottom. Both styles are all in one and they come in a wide range of colours and fabric patterns.

Playsuits and jumpsuits have appeared all over the catwalk throughout the year, and just because the summertime is drawing to a close doesnt mean that you cant wear them anymore. The trend is still going strong and you can now buy autumn/winter jumpsuits that you can glam up to meet with this seasons fashion regulations.

One of the main things you need to remember when wearing either type of suit is that you should always allow your waist to be accentuated. This is because they can be quite baggy on the bottom half, so if you didnt cinch your waist in all that material would swamp your frame no matter what size you are.

The best way to combat this is to buy a jumpsuit or playsuit with a built in waist. Popular styles include elasticated ruching on the bodice that works to define your waist while also giving you a fuller bust. If you cant find one of these simply add a belt to your suit on your natural waist.

To prevent you from looking like a 70s throwback always go for a jumpsuit with a slightly harem leg, which is in fashion right now, but with tapering at the ankle. This will make you bang on trend and will stop it from looking like you are wearing flares.

You can wear a range of footwear with these suits, including flats, heels and boots. If you dont feel comfortable in heels you can go for wedge sandals, which will still help to elongate your body but can be comfier for some, and if you wear them with a playsuit it will look like your legs go on forever. As it gets closer to winter there is nothing stopping you from pairing your playsuit with some thick woolly tights to keep you nice and warm.
