How To Win The Pick 3 Doubles System

, the Pick 3 lotto is probably the simplest to play, and yes, even the easiest to win. If you know what you're doing you can make playing it an investment-no, it cannot be something that will replace your job but it can be an additional source of income. There is such a thing as the Pick 3 Doubles system which most deem as an effective system to bet on to win the lottery. And it's not just according to different players' experience; it's mathematically proven, too. But again, emphasis is on the phrase "if you know what you're doing." Before you know how to win the game, however, you must first know what the whole system is all about.

With the Pick 3 lottery there are exactly a thousand number combinations you can choose from. The digits are of course from 0 to 9, and the combinations from 0-0-0 to 9-9-9. We have three types of combinations: the unmatched, doubles, and triples. The unmatched combination contains three unique digits, say, 7-8-9; the doubles combination contains two matching digits out of the three, like 2-4-4, while the triples-you guessed it-contain digits which all match, like 7-7-7.

The Pick 3 lotto pays for numbers correctly guessed or predicted as "straight," meaning the numbers drawn in the exact order played. 1-2-3 is just that; it's 1-2-3, nothing else. Another variety is the "boxed" method, meaning a combination's digits can win regardless of the order. If 7-7-8 is the combination drawn, for example, 7-8-7 and 8-7-7 are just as much winners. The idea is whatever numbers are inside the "box," regardless of their order, those are the winning numbers. Those are the basic mechanics of the Pick 3 lottery.

Notice the last combination stated as an example above. It's a doubles combination and if you analyze the probability of that combination winning in the boxed method, that's high. The statistics are these out of a thousand possible combinations: with an unmatched combination, there are 720 straight numbers or 72% of the total, 120 of them if boxed; with doubles, there are 270 straight numbers or 27% of the total, 90 of them if boxed; and, with triples, there are 10 straight numbers only or 1% of the total, none of them, evidently, can be boxed.

What do you do now with these pieces of information? And what about the aforementioned Pick 3 Doubles system? Here's what (and don't even try to decipher the formulae and analyses behind them; they are more complicated than they seem so better leave them alone):

Track drawings regularly and decide whether an unmatched combination or a doubles will be drawn. Deciding to pick only between the two types of combinations can easily eliminate a lot of numbers to choose from. (Obviously a triples combination is a bad bet as it comes only 1% of the time.) You don't have to choose between an unmatched combination and a doubles but you'll find that the gains improve greatly when you do so correctly.

A doubles combination tends to come in clusters, so you should watch for a series of 3-5 drawings. Unmatched draws, on the other hand, tend to end with several doubles combinations. A doubles repeating two of its digits averages once in every 20-25 draws. If you're positive about a doubles being due, go ahead and play all three of its variation. That's the Pick 3 Doubles system for you and with this knowledge hopefully your chances of winning will improve greatly.
