How Useful Is A Cell Phone?

Well, once this question is raised, I know there will be numerous answers

. But those are very superficial or technical which anyone would know. Does anyone know that cell phones help in making friends too? Yes, yes I know this answer is also too common.

This story of friendship started in a different manner. It was the year 2008 Sangzz coming all the way from a small town to try out her luck in the metros, and Nagzz just completed his MBA and got a job in a bank. Little did they know that the world is going to be upside down for them in the next few months. They first met each other in an elevator but this did not turn out to be something which should be remembered. The next time also they met in the lift and they conversation started as "14th Floor, right?".

Days ran into weeks and weeks ran into months, it was already two months since they met in the lift. Once while coming down the office, Sangzz got to meet Nagzz near the building premises. However they passed each other with a small sweet smile. Again a gap of two weeks came on the 30th of July, in a regular hurry to catch the local. Sangzz reached platform no. 4 and from there she noticed the boy from her society standing on platform no. 1. From a good distance they exchanged smiles with a small sway of fingers in the air to say 'hi'. After a few minutes Sangzz noticesd him explaining something to her with an action. To this she understood that he was asking for her cell number. How surprising right? In bygone days communication between two unknown people started with sentences like "what is your name?" and then came the number issue. But in this case, it was just the opposite, first the number and then the communication would go.

Sangzz was quite reluctant to give her number in public and hence reciprocated to the question with a gesture "out here in the station"; Nagzz was smart in the reply and started symbolizing his number with fingers in expression and Sangzz quickly noted it down in her mobile phone. This gave a flight to their friendship and now it has been almost two years when the two young buds celebrated their Two Years Completion of Friendship.

Nobody can give the perfect definition of Friendship as no one knows from where it starts. In this case Cell phone was the medium which helped in taking the first step and enhancing the everlasting bliss of friendship. May be in the coming years such communications will become even more easier, especially when people start using Smartphones like Blackberry Bold 2 9700 GSM.
