Most often this article of clothing will be discarded or at best used as rags. Using a cup of vinegar in the wash will remove these stains. It is important however to be sure not to use bleach at the same time, as this will cause chlorine gas to be emitted into the air. This is a deadly gas. Never ever mix bleach and vinegar together for any reason!

Cleaning the bath tub can be a back breaking job. To loosen plaque build up in a tub, make a paste of baking soda and vinegar. This can be gently "scrubbed" onto the surface of the tub, and will remove the build up with very little effort. This an excellent cleaner for old an new tubs alike, and will not leave scratches. It will also save people quite a bit of money when compared to commercial cleaners.

Salt and vinegar is an excellent combination for potatoes. This is also a fantastic combination for cleaning metal. Vases, silverware, and just about anything which is made out of metal with come clean without being scratched, with this combination. It is important to always check with a professional before cleaning any antiques or fine collectibles in order to make sure that it will be safe to clean them at all. It is recommended that some of these items are to be left uncleaned.

One of the best uses for vinegar is for the removal of hard water stains. Anyone who has dealt with a well which leaves mineral deposits is all too familiar with these light yellow to deep brown stains that seem resistant to just about everything. Scrubbing, scouring, and trying many different cleaning products, has no affect on this ugly mess which seems determined to remain. Many homeowners are embarrassed, believing that visitors will think that they are unclean. This is not necessarily so. Plugging the sink and filling it with a vinegar and water concentration will soften these stains. They may then be gently "scrubbed" with a baking soda mixture, to remove the stains.
