I was on these sites for 4 years or so and it helped me realize that this is what I really wanted to do full-time.

The time will come when you're tired of paying the fees those sites have and you've hit the ceiling of what they have to offer. Then, you should make your own article ghost writer site and start getting traffic to it. Now, you're in total control of your business and everything you do. Marketing your site is a whole new ballgame, though. If writing's your thing, marketing may not be. It's a whole bunch of new things to learn, but it's all part of the adventure.
