Advertising is probably the oldest, most used form of communication for companies to promote there business. It use to only be with pictures then it was with words and pictures then we moved up to television, radio ,billboards, new papers and now With the age of technology, there is are endless ways to advertise.

Most companies now have an online presence or at least an email that promoting on line is crucial. The problem is, that the larger companies, pay other companies to do it for them and smaller companies simply can't afford to do that. So we find other ways that are affordable and sometimes prove to be more productive .

If you own a business with a physical address, you need to let the local people know that you are there and what you offer, the same thing with an online business , sometimes even a little harder, It's like the puppy's in the window at the pet store and they all want you to take them but you can't decide which one and then the little runt in the back makes his way to the front and it all becomes clear, that's one you want. We are the little runt's that are making our way to the front.

Think about what works for you, what catches you attention and start use that as as a jumping off point. You just have to keep looking until you get that mix of what works for you and your business. Maybe start with small advertisements, submit articles, talk about your business on forums, get your friends talking about it with thier friends and so on , it will grow quicker than you might think.
