It is wise to have one set out before you have thought about getting your own website; it can be a nice dream but if you don't want to spend too much then it may be difficult at times.
You're going to have to think about what type of website you want to create but if you've already got the idea in your mind then you are half way there. Next you are going to think about your budget and what you are working with; is it a big budget or is it only a small budget, this is something that you are going to have to think about.
Setting up a site is easy in fact because you can get your domain name and then start on how you want to create it but that is when most of us have a web designer in mind for the next part. You can have an idea of how you want the site to be but it might be that you can't really do this yourself and you need a web designer to do this for us.
The only problems with that is the cost of it all; well exactly how much is too much for a web design program? That's going to depend on who you are and if you want to spend enormous amounts of money setting your website though not everyone is going to be able to do that however.
Web design is going to be different for everyone but when it gets in exceeding of thousands of pounds and getting no results from it then that is when you should stop.
