Use the right and left arrows on your keyboard to select the BOOT menu. Use the down arrow to highlight Brightness Mode Control, and then press Enter. Two options appear: * Auto: The Brightness values are set by the status of the AC adapter at each boot up. * User Control: The Brightness values you set remain regardless of the status of the AC adapter. Regardless of which option you choose, you can still increase or decrease the brightness by pressing the function key and the up or down arrow key. Use your up and bottom arrows to highlight "User Control", and then press "Enter". Press the F10 key to save the settings and exit the Boot menu. A Setup Confirmation screen appears. Use your right and left arrows to select "Yes", and then press enter. Your notebook restarts. Now this LP156WH1 LCD Screen looks comfortable for me according to these steps.
