It's no secret that approaching a woman can be one of the hardest things that a guy can do. Standing there, thinking to yourself about what the right thing to say might be, or wondering what she is going to say to you- these are all things that keep guys from ever getting off of their rear and making the move. Well, you are not going to get many dates that way, are you? You have to get past whatever might be keeping you from making the approach and learn how to approach a woman confidently.

Here are a few tips on how to approach a woman that should get you going:

1. Realize that if you do approach her the right way, you are going to brighten her day, you aren't going to annoy her.

I think that one of the most common fears that guys have about approaching a woman is the feeling that they might somehow annoy her. Well, guess what? you will if you come off like you are trying to be a pick up artist, but if you approach her and start a conversation that flows well, she's going to be glad that you walked over to her. Most single women are just like you, they are hoping to meet someone that they can "click" with, and you can be that guy that clicks with her.

2. If you can make her laugh, she is going to want to be with you more.

Make her laugh, because most of the time, she's feeling a little uneasy herself. Women get trapped in their head just as you do, and when you can make her laugh, you make the whole situation seem easy and enjoyable for her. Don't think that you have to be a comedian or anything like that. All you have to do is get her to crack a smile and laugh a little and you should be fine.

3. Even though you want to get more than just a conversation going, you have to be unattached to the goal of getting a number or a date.

It's a mental thing. When you are too attached to the idea that you need to get her number or a date with her, you are more than likely going to make yourself feel nervous and potentially blow it with her. Keep yourself unattached from whatever your goal is, just make sure that you do try to get some kind of a close with her.
