Thankfully, today they have a service called a reverse email lookup. It's very easy to use and it only takes a few seconds. All you need to do is go to the website and enter in the email address that you are interested in getting more information about. Then you click on the "search" button and wait a couple seconds.

Very quickly, the service will return to you information such as the name, address, phone number and possibly even the place of work for the owner of the email.

With this information, you can do a few different things. You can actually email them back and let them know that you know exactly who they are. You can do one better and actually call them and let them know that you know where they live. Now I would love see the look on a spammers face when they got a phone call like that!

Another thing you can do is take the information right to the federal government. Your local congressman will have the information for you as to where to send it.

One of the best ways I've seen this service used is to bust a cheater. They think they are being sneaky by emailing their partner and they have no clue that you can find out exactly who it is they are talking too in a matter of seconds.
