This day is celebrated in the respect and honor of mothers in every kind of family. This auspicious event is celebrated in all the countries but the dates vary depending on the countries culture and events. The tradition of celebrating and enjoying motherhood was prevalent in different continents from some years. There are some of the traditions of this day that marks its beginning centuries back. Although, this day is marked with the ceremony of visiting the Church. This day previously was more attached to the concept of some lady called Virgin Mary and her sacrifices that she gave. The event was celebrated on the month of May. Later on they adopted the same for Mother's Day celebration.

Previously, mother's day was celebrated by giving holiday to all sorts of employees so that they can visit their mother that lives very far from them. Thus, the concept of giving gifts to our mothers on this day was natural for all of us. On that day, mothers were given holiday from their so called homely problems. The rest of the family members should and must prepare the food or arranged a house warming party to make the occasion very memorable and everlasting.
