Fear is a spirit of torment to a Christian. As Christians, we have to fight fear in our life by identifying the root cause, reading God's word, meditating on God's word, and praying. Just like any other habit or spirit, which seeks to disrupt our walk with Jesus, and we need to conquer fear. When we are able to fully accept who God is in our lives and the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us, fear will leave. Jesus' love for us, already conquered fear on the cross. However, our love for Jesus will move fear completely out of our lives. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love" (1 john 4:18).
