How to Develop Muscles At Home Without Weights
How to Develop Muscles At Home Without Weights
If you are just getting started and want to know how you can build muscles then you have come to the right place. Building muscles isn't as hard as many people think. Sure, there is some work involved and you should have the right attitude towards your workout routines but you do not necessarily need to visit a gym or have a whole bunch of equipment to develop muscles.
Maybe you can't afford to pay the monthly fees for a gym or maybe you lack the time to visit a gym 3 times a week. I stopped working out at a gym because I liked the idea to only use my own bodyweight to develop muscles and the best thing is I can work out whenever and wherever I want to.
These are the pros but the cons are that you have a limit and you will have to find new variations of push ups or squats for example. They will just become too easy and boring after a while but if you just imagine going to a gym and doing bench presses 3 times a week.... that was boring as hell for me too.
So if you are just starting out I recommend doing normal push ups, squats and sit-ups for a while until you can manage to do 3 sets of 15 reps or you can visit: Develop Muscles Without Equipment and you can get a full bodyweight training program that gets you started right away.
After you are able to do that you should search for harder variations of exercises like dive bomber push ups or jumping squats.
Start out slow and I recommend doing only one set of each exercises in the beginning and then rest for as long as it takes. If you feel sore then don't work out, it will only be contra productive and will not help you to gain and develop muscles.
After your body got used to your new workout you should increase the sets to 2-3. But never increase your reps. Let's say you can manage the 15 reps I suggested above then please do not just add more to that. you will not gain muscles by doing 50 push ups. Instead if you find your exercises too easy or boring then switch to another harder variation.
The last tip is nutrition. Eat healthier and also lots of protein like chicken, fish and meat in general. Also don't forget to do some cardiovascular exercises like jogging, rope jumping, swimming or riding a bike. Any of them will do the job and raise your heartbeat.
That would be it for today. I hope you found these tips on muscle building useful and if you want to find out more and even get a complete bodyweight training program with many different exercises then I recommend you visit: Develop Muscles Without Equipment.
