How to Disassemble a Keyboard?

If some keys do not strike correctly when using a keyboard, and if this keyboard has passed its warranty time, you can try to disassemble and repair it by yourself. Since the entire keyboard is installed on a printed circuit board, it is a very troublesome job to take off the keys. Here I will share you the general steps to remove a keyboard. One, turn the keyboard upside down, unload the screws and gently prize up the bottom board with a screwdriver, remove the cover, take out the whole keyboard and pull out the keycaps. Two, take out the soldering tin from the printed circuit board, and then the button switch would be separated from the board. Try to use the nipper pliers to gather the two locating plates on both sides towards the center so as that you can take out the keys easily. Three, take off the key lever, the spring and the leaf. If the leaf is good, you can bend the curved part a little more curved so as to enhance the pressure of the contact spring, which is the main method to fix the poor connection of a keyboard. Four, after you fix your problem, load the spring, the leaf and the key lever; plug the keys into their original positions, insert the soldered dots into the corresponding holes and expose their tips, finally weld the tips with the holes securely and install the keycaps.
