The site may have free ringtones that are even unavailable to other sites, and you are guaranteed of its safety and services. Some sites may allow free downloads but in exchange for your personal contacts and phone numbers. Beware because some of them may have a hidden agenda.

Once you get the right ringtone, download it to your mobile phone. Fill in all the information required to make the downloading process complete i.e. the name of your service provider, country of origin and her code, cell number and the phone's model. Filing in the information before beginning the downloading saves you from downloading ringtones that are not supported by your phone. The site will inform you before hand, whether the ringtone is compatible and downloading will begin. However, if the site does not offer the ringtones for free, information on billing will have to be filled.

When done with the filing of information, click/press on the download tool and downloading will begin. Your ringtone confirmation will be confirmed through a text message. Other sites will begin to download the ringtone until the process is 100% complete and the service asks you to confirm on the location where you intend to save your message, e.g. music folder, phone memory or in the memory card.

The paid for ringtones range from $.99 to $4.00. The price charge depends on the tone quality, the genre of the tone, the site from which it has been downloaded from or the deal.
