Another crucial piece when building your wardrobe is a black fitted tank top or a basic white top. Remember they should never be too loose or you will be mistaken for the sloppy lazy woman who does not have time for anything. Always go for cotton as it is very comfortable and absorbs perspiration.

As for the shoes you should be wearing; never go for white runners as they would defiantly kill your look. You can always wear retro sneakers, comfy boots, or flats. Your shoes have to be clean and tidy; never leave the house sporting dirty shoes.

When it comes to accessories, the less the better. Wear a big sporty watch or a silver or gold pendant. You can go au natural but if you are insecure about your skin, you can always pull off clean make-up. Use a concealer not a foundation; concealers are less heavy and you do not have to use as much to cover your face. In addition, you can always wear brown mascara: you will look fresh!

The secret to pulling off the casual chic look is mixing and matching your basic items in your wardrobe. Wear jeans, cargo pants or even leggings; they are all comfortable and sung. Make sure that your clothes are ironed and in tip-top shape. Do not wear a black worn out top that looks more grey than black- this is definitely a sign that it is time to get rid of the top as soon as possible.

Last but not least, if you are a busy mom or at home cleaning, you do not have to worry about what you are wearing and be meticulous about it. You can be home and wear whatever you want that makes you feel comfortable because if you are not comfortable within the walls of your house, when are you going to be?
