Only problem is that it's not too easy to find reliable suppliers. Working with a random company is not a good idea since many of them might be scammers or unreliable, which may pull you into trouble.

Your customer isn't aware that you're a dropshipper, so one will think that you are the shipper. And needless to say who is the customer going to blame for undelivered goods. This means that you're going to have to contact the supplier, but what If supplier says that they did all they were supposed to ? This leaves you in a very uncomfortable situation.

Sadly these sort of things happen, but they happen with only with unverified suppliers. So, how do you recognize a scammer or just unreliable supplier?

Of course, you can go ahead and ask from forums or do a search on Google, which may give you some results, but still no way to be completely sure.

If you're just starting out as a dropshipper, I hope I didn't discourage you. In reality there is no need to worry about these kind of things as long as you use legitimate and verified suppliers.

So where can you find legitimate suppliers from? The answer is from a verified dropshipping directory. Luckily there is more than one of those, so you have an option to choose from many.

But you need to be sure that they are actually verifying the suppliers in their database. There are many free directories floating around, which claim to have a list of quality suppliers, while in reality they just list everyone they can find. So choosing a random directory is definitely a bad idea.

Legitimate directory can actually be identified fairly easily. Find out if they have support staff and preferably also a forum. And of course, it's never a bad idea to check some of the dropshipping forums, and see if anybody have been dealing with that directory before.

So, the answer to the question "Where can I find products for dropshipping" from is verified directories. Always keep in mind not to do business with unverified suppliers that you can find from directories that list all companies, even the unverified ones.
